More Roller Coaster Goodness

Dana and I went to Six Flags again this Saturday. As I promised, I tried a new coaster, this time it was Roar.

Roar The Roller Coaster

It was another wooden roller coaster and this time was a much more enjoyable experience than my first ride. We started with The Wild One again, because I wanted to feel like I had my wits about me and wasn’t just thinking that I could handle a little more intense coaster. It turned out I was fine. Immediately after riding The Wild One, we moved on to Roar.

Here’s a view of the first drop of The Wild One:

It’s not so bad, right?

Our friend Miles went with us, and he and Dana went on Superman:Ride of Steel. I decided that it might be best for me to wait until our next visit to take on Superman…Make sure you check out the video at the page above.

Dana and Miles also went on the Joker Jinx, which they claim “is not that bad!” They also claim, “that you’ll love it!” We’ll see how I feel after Superman:Ride of Steel. Here’s the Joker Jinx:

Dana’s parents are coming this weekend for her cousin’s graduation from high school in Richmond, VA, and we’re planning to visit Six Flags again on Sunday. Hopefully if I try Superman, I won’t die of fright and can bring you an update next week.

we have some friends that are regulars to Six Flags over Texas and they were able to save a ton of money on a season pass by buying through a relative’s out of state address. I’m not sure if this deal is the same at your local Six Flags but I thought it was worth mentioning.
