Comfortable Disappearance

Orrin Hatch is a terrible Senator. He might be a nice guy, but come on people, this guy made it illegal to play DVDs on Linux! He also said that roast your computer if you download material illegally. Oh yeah, and then some rather smart individuals discovered that he was using some code on his official Senate website that was not licensed to him.

Well, the Senate would be much better off if Pete Ashdown were to win. Ashdown started XMission, the largest ISP in Utah. Having someone in the Senate that understands technical issues, would be a huge benefit to techinical policy. Not to mention, all of my other problems with Mr. Hatch…but that’s another rant.

If you’re so inclined to donate money to a campaign this fall, I’d encourage you to assist Mr. Ashdown. He needs it.
