Wow. This guy is a true idiot. I can honestly say that his views are far from where Biblical Christianity is. If he were to read the Bible in its entirely, He would realize that the law was established in the Old Testament to encourage righteousness but was replaced by the work of Christ because no man could fully obey all 600+ tenants of the law. Through Christ there are now only two things that believers ought to follow: Love the Lord your God and love your neighbor as yourself. Don’t let this guy paint a poor picture of Christianity. He’s a total moron and can be filed under the likes of Jerry Falwell.
The fact that the Fargo Forum printed this article is pretty amazing in itself, I’m not sure what they thought they were trying to accomplish on their op-ed page. I’m guessing they don’t feel his views are representative of all of North Dakotans views, but then again, who knows.
